- power increase
- selector switch
I have the 2.8 Baby Duramax. I love the engine but needed something to help with the turbo lag and give it just a little more power. I also didnt want to deal with a delete and tune. I have dont that in the past with other diesels I have owned and felt it to be cumbersome and risky with factory warranty. So I got the Stealth module. I like how quick it was to install and I keep the selector switch under the hood since I dont need to change it. I love the power increase I got without risking damage to my motor or exhaust manifold. Also eliminated the turbo lag. Good stuff. Tha is for a great product.
I researched for quite some time before I decided to get my Stealth module. It sounded like one of those too good to be true kind of deals. But all the things I was reading in everyone else’s reviews of the produce were spot on! My throttle repsonce is much more crisp. My fuel economy is much better, when I keep my foot out it. And the low/mid range torque is definitely noticeable. I log about 35,000 miles per year on this truck and tow a loaded down enclosed trailer 50% of the time. Now I feel more confident if I need to pass that the power will be there and that when I hit the pedal there won’t be such a lag before something happens. Thanks for the great support and great product! My Duramax Canyon definitely has a new attitude.
I have a 2016 GMC Canyon 2.8l Duramax and it has been lacking get up and go especially with the dead pedal. As I have read through the reviews I agree that the dead pedal is virtually gone and the pick up is amazing. I have also noticed it does not take as much pedal to get to speeds anymore. I have used all the settings and seems to work well in all settings but I chose to leave in the 3rd position. I have not been on a long trip to check for an improvement to the fuel mileage. Eric was very helpful on the phone even late at night when trying to get this module hooked up. The instructions were easy and correct just one of the connections was a little troublesome.
