Step by Step Instructions
Let your truck sit with the hood popped, doors shut and the key fob away from the vehicle for at least 20 minutes. It is important to keep the key fob away and the doors shut during the entire installation process. DO NOT bring the key fob near the vehicle or open any doors until AFTER the module is fully installed and connections are verified. This allows the computer to 'sleep' and for your engine compartment to cool down. Failure to do so will result in a check engine light on startup.
Step 1: The Stealth Module plugs into the engine ICP (Injection Control Pressure) sensor. |
Step 2: The sensor is located near the front of the driver’s side engine head. |
Step 3: The sensor can be seen more easily if you remove the cover on the top of the engine. |
Step 4: Disconnect the factory plug from the ICP sensor (1). |
Step 5: Plug the module harness into the ICP sensor. |
Step 6: Plug the factory plug into the module harness receptacle. |
Step 7: Route the harness to the left fender well. |
Step 8: Reattach the cover, if removed. |
Step 9: Plug the module harness into the module. |
Step 10: Plug the selector switch into the module harness. |
Step 11: Route the selector switch into the truck cab and mount in your desired location. |
Step 12: Secure the module with zip ties provided or with velcro. |
